There has been a building on the site here since the 18th century.  It was originally a single storey cottage, part of the XXX estate and at some time a second floor was added to it.  It later was called Penlan Villa.

In the latter end of the 20th Century a single rear storey was added and then a second floor was added to this as well.

We first saw the property on the internet and actually went to see it in April, when we were over in the UK. Whilst it needed a lot of work to bring it up to the property we wanted, the location was ideal and this is what sold it to us.

Our property in Tenerife eventually sold on June and we put in an offer as soon as we were able and soon agreed a price that both parties were comfortable with.
